If your chainsaw uses a rim sprocket, the rim gear or drive gear can be changed separately. If your chainsaw uses a spur sprocket, the complete clutch drum must be changed. The clutch should also be inspected for wear and replaced if necessary.
You can check the wear on the clutch drum on the owner's manual of your chainsaw.
