Garden tractor maintenance

For your Husqvarna garden tractor to work optimally, it needs to be maintained, depending on the type of the product.

Some maintenance can be performed easily, and some needs to be done by the authorised local dealer.

Maintenance of a petrol-powered garden tractor

Before each use
Every 50 hours or annually

Maintaining a battery-powered garden tractor

Before each use
  • Make sure that the tyre pressure is correct in all tyres.
  • Clean the cutting deck, below the covers and below the cutting deck.
  • Check the PTO button.
  • Check the operator presence control (OPC).
  • Examine the grass catcher and the microswitches for the grass catcher (applicable for TC models only).
Every 50 hours or annually
  • Lubricate the garden tractor.
  • Make sure that the tyre pressure is correct in all tyres.
  • Clean the cutting deck, below the covers and below the cutting deck.
  • Check that the cutting deck is parallel. Adjust the parallelism if necessary.
  • Check the PTO button.
  • Check the operator presence control (OPC).
  • Examine the grass catcher and the microswitches for the grass catcher, if applicable.
