WARNING: An incorrectly used or damaged battery charger can cause electric shock, battery leakage or excessive temperatures. Regularly examine the battery charger and the battery for damage.

CAUTION: Charge the battery before using for the first time. A new battery is not fully charged.

CAUTION: Only use approved battery chargers.

CAUTION: The charging process can only be carried out when the temperature of the battery is in the permitted charging temperature range (between 0° and 38°C).

CAUTION: Use the battery in conditions where the temperatures are between 0°C and 40°C.

NOTE: The battery may go into sleep mode when the product is in storage or if the state of charge is very low. To start the battery, press and hold the start button for 2 seconds. If the battery does not start, it must be charged until it is fully charged. The charging time is longer when the battery is in sleep mode.

  1. Connect the battery charger to an earthed mains socket and the product.
  2. Set the battery charger ON/OFF switch to ON.
  3. Wait until the battery is fully charged. The battery is fully charged when all 4 LEDs light up continuously.
  4. Set the battery charger ON/OFF switch to OFF before you disconnect it.
