How to clean or replace an air filter on a ride-on lawn mower

Replacing an air filter on a ride-on lawn mower

For this you will need:

• A cleaning brush or compressed air
• A new air filter, if your old air filter is damaged; use the right type of air filter for the model of ride-on lawn mower

Method:

1. Open the engine cover.
2. Loosen the knobs that hold the air filter cover and remove the cover.
3. Remove the air filter cartridge from the filter housing.
4. Clean the air filter if needed.
5. If the air filter is broken or damaged, replace it with a new one; use the right air filter for the model of ride-on lawn mower.
6. Install by repeating the sequence backwards.
