How to dispose of a used BLi-X battery

When it comes to disposing of a used Husqvarna battery, it is essential to follow proper procedures in order to protect the environment and ensure safety. 

Recycling a BLi-X battery and charger

• Recycle the products and their packages at an applicable disposal location.
• To find the most suitable recycling method, speak to your local authorised Husqvarna dealer. They can provide more information on how to properly recycle and discard the product.

Make sure to obey local disposal requirements and any applicable regulations. Keep in mind that different regions have specific guidelines for battery disposal.

WARNING: Do not throw the battery in household rubbish or recycling bins.

Note that the battery may still have residual energy even when it appears discharged. 

To prevent fires and other hazards, place each battery in a plastic bag, and/or place non-conductive tape (e.g. electrical tape) over the battery’s terminal.
