Troubleshooting pairing issues with the Automower® Connect app during an EPOS™ installation

When installing your Automower® NERA robotic lawn mower equipped with EPOS™ technology, following the installation steps in the correct sequence is key.
 
If you are having trouble pairing your robotic lawn mower to the Automower® Connect app, it could be due to premature mounting of the EPOS™ Plug-in module on the product. To resolve this, try the following:
  1. Remove the robotic lawn mower from the charging station and turn it off.
  2. Disconnect the EPOS™ Plug-in cable from the mower and leave it disconnected.
  3. Turn on the mower.
  4. Try pairing the mower with the Automower® Connect app again.
  5. Turn off the robotic lawn mower.
  6. Reconnect the EPOS™ Plug-in cable.
  7. Place the robotic lawn mower in the charging station and turn it on.
  8. A new firmware update will start, which can take up to an hour.

Important

  • Do not skip cloud pairing in the app. Skipping pairing will prevent the mower from downloading firmware updates, which are necessary to complete the EPOS™ installation. 
  • If you own an Automower® 310E NERA or an Automower® 320 NERA, it is important that you do not skip Wi-Fi pairing during the EPOS™ installation. Skipping pairing will prevent the robotic lawn mower from downloading firmware updates, which are necessary to complete the installation.
